Sorry to pimp BUT...I did an interview with Camille in the upcoming issue of Hi Fructose magazine. If you ever wanted to know the idealogy and sentiment behind the work she talks a lot about that in her interview.

This magazine is put together by the extraordinary talents of Annie Owens and Attaboy, they do almost everything themselves which is amazing when you look at all the effort put into the magazine. Ert O'Hara (formerly of Juxtapoz) is on board as well.

I have to admit I love these. I am seduced by my repulsion.

I guess it's a "thing". But these sculptures aren't baby chimps, they are chimp/human hybrids. That adds that extra delicious topping of ultra weird on an already strange practice.

Geez, what a bunch of haters. I can't believe how bent out of shape some people are getting over a sweatshirt. It's not like BB is MAKING you buy them, or you can't be part of some special Boing Boing club if you don't have one...they just thought it'd be a cool fun thing to do. Can't afford it? Why don't you simply ask if they could make something more affordable, rather than getting all OUTRAGED about it.

This book is really lovely in person. They did a great job. But lots and lots of creepy pics!

I think those bats are pretty cute, though a couple of them looked pretty ill. By the way- bats do NOT want to fly into your hair like some people like to think, and when they make those little scary snarly faces, often they are just "sonaring" you, not getting ready to attack.

D'holbachie seems to channel the same strange world Jim Woodring does. It's fantastic stuff.

Jim's art in unbelievable in person...he's sort of a genius.
