This reminds me of the movie Phenomenon (unfortunately starring John Travolta).

I get passed by police cars all the time, and it does seem rather hypocritical.

My favorite peeve are those obnoxiously-long Amazon.com URLs.

A URL such as

can always be shortened to something like

http://www.amazon.com/dp/0735619670/
