I don't understand why my post was censored. I didn't say anything threatening or vulgar. I merely expressed a difference of opinion. Certainly that isn't enough to warrant the erosion of free speech, is it?

Man builds bowling alley in garage - video

Yes it's short but sometimes you need to make-do with what you have. When I was a kid, my dad created an outdoor ice skating rink in our back yard. Was it NHL rink size? Nope. Was it still fun? Absolutley!
Blackwater wishes you a very mercenary Christmas

Jesus wouldn't shoot.
======
That's my point. Whoever designed Blackwater's greeting card is a fool for invoking the name of Jesus, a peace lover.
Woman asked to leave Walmart after staying 72 hours
December 24, 2007 9:08am
I live in San Francisco and, seeing as how we don't have a Wal-Mart, and are probably not getting one any time soon, I've never been inside one.
============
Anaxaforminges, There are 18 WalMarts in your area. They typically build in the suburbs rather than the urban areas so, technically speaking, many major cities don't have a WalMart. As far as WalMart infestation goes, however, they have infiltrated the San Francisco area just as much as the rest of America.
What waterboarding feels like
December 24, 2007 8:53am
I oppose waterboarding, but I was struck by some of the things the guy said. For starters, he said he was fine ten minutes afterward and he also said that he would give up anything to prevent it from happening again. Perhaps that's why the government does it. Victims are okay in a matter of minutes and they are now willing to squeal on their cohorts. I previously had the impression that people were dying as a result of this torture. Even with that fresh insight, however, I still oppose it. Humans shouldn't treat each other that way.
Another person turns blue from colloidal silver

Doomstalk, you're right. It wasn't meant to be mean, but after reading his story I regret making that comparison. I hope that some medical professional who hears about him can help reverse the condition.

...is a girl being exposed to sex a couple years earlier than the average in the States really something to get riled up about?

Amusing firing range targets
December 19, 2007 9:01am
I'm not into guns but I have no problem with people shooting at a target range. It's a controlled environment where safety measures are taken into consideration. There's nothing "sick" or "perverse" about shooting paper targets. It's really not much different than when I shot beer cans with a BB gun as a kid, except that the target range is a safer place to shoot than my back yard was.

Think SUX is bad? Then you don't want to know the airport code for Fukuoka, Japan!

ElGuapo138 50: Actually if you look at your recent comments here: http://dynamic.boingboing.net/profile/ElGuapo138 and compare the ones that were disemvowelled to the ones that were not, a pattern will emerge.
===========
I checked it out and a pattern does indeed emerge. Every post in which I expressed a contrary opinion was censored, even if nothing objectionable was said. It's a sad day when merely expressing a difference of opinion is grounds for censorship. That's right out of the Karl Rove play book. You may as well disable my account at this point. I'm heading to forums that encourage open expression and free thinking.
