I'm not sure if Anon read the article - it says right in there that many bottlers simply repackage tap water, and they typically do not test for the very contaminants that fear-mongering article is discussing.

Nobody is saying tap water is pristine, but I think it's been reliably shown that bottled water isn't any better in most cases.

I wonder how his "you can't argue with science" philosophy jibes with the prevailing views Republicans hold on global warming and evolution.

He said *YOU* can't argue with science, addressing the liberal feminists. He was trying to use their precious science against them. Conservatives like him, however, can (and do) argue with science all the livelong day.
