Honestly, why are people so afraid of violent cataclysmic events? personally I'd much rather die because of a supernova, or a black hole, heck even an atomic weapon (as long as I'm sitting right in the part of the blast where your vaporized) instead of dying because of cancer. or aids. or in some lonely cell in guantanamo.

long painful, possibly alienated and ostracized death = lame-sauce
