Yes, but those examples are at least reasonable - toddlers are extremely unlikely to hijack planes and the disabled should be treated with equal respect, but disability has absolutely no bearing on whether this person is capable of downloading music over her computer. Does her photo in the paper also have a big sad eyed puppy?

I'm all for taking the fight to the RIAA, but pandering because she's disabled seems a little disrespectful of Ms Anderson and people with disabilities in general.

It's not as if she was accused of illegally.. well, I don't know.. what is there that an able-bodied person might be accused of that a disabled person can't do?

Say I bought a really great Mark Frauenfelder print that I liked so much I wanted to view it not only in the rumpus room, but also at my office and on road trips in my Winnebago.

Do I have the right to scan it and print nearly identical copies to hang in all these different locations to view at my leisure? Can I make wallet size prints so I can view its awesomeness in a format that is convenient for my on the go lifestyle? Can I take the scan and display it on my digital picture frame? Can I print a back up copy to keep around in case my original print is raptured up to heaven?

...On the bright side, there are plenty of other exciting and functional new models for making money while doing creative work like writing books...
