And just as a side note, this is the entire reason why I haven't bought a kindle. I love the idea (for the device), but can't square the software end of it.

It seems like the correct way to test this (at least, in the US), would be to sue amazon for false advertising (since they advertise purchase, but claim only license).

I get this frequently now, but only when I anonymize my queries (using TOR). I've never seen it on non-TOR requests.
