iPhone 3G monthly service rates: It's going to be more expensive

June 9, 2008 11:32pm

Believe it or not, not everyone is wetting their pants over the new iPhone. Those Apple marketing people have you wrapped around their little finger. Of COURSE the 3G service costs more. They've brainwashed you so you "gotta have it", so just shut up and pay the money. The rest of us really don't give a flying phuck about iPhones or Apple in general.

Play with a Curta caclulator without spending hundreds on eBay

Aha! You guys just earned back all the cred you've been losing with the constant Lego posts...
I have my Dad's Type 1 Curta that he bought new in the early 60s...I'm telling you, if you guys like steampunk and Babbage Difference Engines, sell some of your Lego sets and buy a Curta! It's like having a Victorian science fiction device in your hand...tell me that's not worth $800...

Deals: Zune 8GB for $180 at Toys 'R' Us

February 1, 2008 8:02am

P.S Tons of new or near-new 30GB Zunes on Ebay for $150-$180. They're all taking their profit, but it's still a way better deal than 8GB for $180.

The DIY Tractors of Poland

I love homebrew mechanical stuff like that - I was just about to give BoingBoing a rest for awhile when I saw these great tractors.
But FYI even if you say DILLIGAF?!? I was going to give BB a break for a while because of excessive Lego/minifig/video game references. WTF....Sci-fi, Steampunk, and real musicians are WAY cooler than Lego and "Rock Band"...I'm sorry... ;-)
