Mark Ryden's art for Obama

September 25, 2008 7:31am

Hmm, that must mean that Ryden also supports the Patriot Act that his beloved candidate voted for and voted to extend, and he must also support war, considering that Obomba has consistently voted in favor of war, anddd Ryden must also be totally cool with his Savior voting for warrantless wiretapping of Americans. Doesn't it suck when good artists have to get all political on us?

Ruby was Angry: A Short Story

Loved it! Sounds like my precious Dinky...She gets angry a lot...especially in public.

Brain electrodes as depression treatment

July 24, 2008 7:05pm

This is absolutely ridiculous. I sure hope they've exhausted every attempt to rid these people of their so-called depression before they went and tampered with their brains. I'm not talking every anti-psychotic out there either, I'm talking alternative and natural remedies and techniques. People look for the easy way out for everything, "make me a feelingless robot, anything--just please don't force me to deal with my thoughts, feelings and real life!" I find it creepy enough being around people who take antidepressants, let alone have some shit hooked up to their brain, tweaking their neurons. That's just f*d up.

Building festooned with inflatable tentacles

July 9, 2008 6:16pm

Did anyone watch Conan last night? This reminds me of it. He had one of those big, "dancing man" inflatables of HIMSELF flailing out the window of his building. It was hilarious.

Nearly every part of US gov is "involved in monitoring or surveillance."

July 9, 2008 11:29am

I've quoted Judge Andrew Napolitano before, and I will quote him again b/c this is such an awesome comeback to the whole "I'm not worried, I've got nothing to hide" statement. Napolitano was on Alex Jones' Prison Planet when he said the best way to respond to that, is to say, "I've got everything to hide". I just think that is so kick-ass. Another thing that is kick-ass is this shirt I just ordered from RIP USA, it says "1984: Stop it before it's too late". I can't wait to get it!

Body armor developer shoots himself (video)

July 5, 2008 12:53pm

How is it considered "crazy" to take the responsibility to protect yourself at all times--especially while on the job?? I live in Michigan, and even recently there have been pizza delivery people jumped for their money. Screw that shit, I'd be protecting myself too. Who else is going to do it? THE COPS?!! LMAO

NYC cops harass club owner whose CCTV footage overturned drug conviction

July 5, 2008 12:38pm

I like how when crooked cops (that covers, what? 90% of them?) get caught, they get to keep their job. OR, this is even better. They get PAID suspension or some crap.
We citizens pay the cops to work FOR us. They need to get it straight. If you look at us taxpayers as the employer, which we are, don't you think we should be able to fire these scumbags when they do something like this?

Video: documentary on Showbiz animatronic band

July 5, 2008 12:27pm

Dude, I used to cry when I went to Showbiz and watched the band. Not tears of joy either, they were tears of fear. Those things creeped me out!

America loves drugs

July 5, 2008 12:25pm

If somebody wants to smoke crack---let em. It's their life, their body. When are we going to stop intruding in people's lives? This phony "war on drugs" doesn't stop anyone from using. It's pointless. Jails should be reserved for people who do harm to other people and property. It's stupid to punish someone who is only hurting themself. Now what, are we going to start cracking down and throwing "cutters" in jail? ....I wouldn't be surprised...anything that will make the government more money and give them more power over us.

Obama bumper stickers for every state

July 5, 2008 12:15pm

How lame.
My new bumper sticker's gonna be the best. It says, "Don't Blame Me, I Voted for Ron Paul".
But I guess if you want to vote for a "new kind of candidate" that voted in favor of the Patriot Act and warrantless wiretapping, then those stickers would float yer boat.

Andrew Brandou: new paintings

Wonder if I'll be viewed as having "terrorist traits" due to my viewing of pro-Constitution/anti-government videos?

Official anti-terrorism civilian snoop program to be expanded

July 1, 2008 10:36am

Get a load of this straight up bull$hit, I followed the link to the story and this was one of the 2 comments there:
Gary Prowant on June 30th, 2008 10:34 am
"More eyes and more ears to watch and listen for suspicious or illegal activities during wartime is certainly a smart move. Point is, if you are NOT doing anything suspicious or illegal, you DON’T have to worry!"
I cannot tell you how much it irks me when dumbasses say that. "Duhh, I'm not doing anything wrong...why should I worry?" UGH. That's not the POINT. Why doesn't anyone value their privacy anymore?? I'll quote Judge Andrew Napolitano when asked what he "had to hide"----"I have everything to hide."

Con-artist convinces town he's a super Fed who doesn't need search warrants

July 1, 2008 10:22am

#30, spokehedz, It is NOT okay to pry into people's personal lives. Their body is their property, and if they want to put drugs into it, then that's their decision. Who is anyone, especially our government, to tell them they can't?

Dumb-ass anti-terrorism ideas -- patented!

June 30, 2008 2:58pm

I've got a great idea--HOW bout ARM the pilots and possibly a guard! Noooo....that's just too outrageous. Trap doors and cameras mounted in front of every seat detecting "suspicious" facial expressions of passengers (a.k.a.-suspected terrorists) are much better ideas.
