To funny, but of course sad. I'm inclined to suspect his insurance carrier forced the issue. I had a friend who saved a boy's life. My friend and some others were in a motorboat, and somehow managed to "run him over". My friend dove out, rescued him, and kept him alive until he could be brought to EMTs (or vice versa).
