If I had a linkedin/deviantart account I wouldn't want to delete it, no matter how much I hated the product. just in case someone came along afterwards with the same username and (accidentally or otherwise) pretended to be me. I do have a habit of setting up accounts for things I never use, on the basis that I want the username. Case in point*: there's a very nice young lady on Youtube with my name. (* "...A pointy case with the case inside the point...")...
