Commented on Radical Militant Librarian tee
Reminds me of a great anime/manga "Toshokan_Sensō" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toshokan_Sensō Basic premise: in 1989 the Japanese Govt began censoring anything they found to be potentially harmful to society. Local groups formed acutal militias (Library Defense Forces) to protect books and information from...

Commented on IKEA sends breastfeeder to the toilets
"But lots of people don't feel that way about it. It makes many people uncomfortable." Then to that redstar I must say, the problem lies with those who have issue with it. Not with a mother giving nourishment to their...

Commented on IKEA sends breastfeeder to the toilets
So redstar, should every human being in the US be forced to sit in closed curtain booths so no one can see anyone eat? It is minds like yours that make this fallacy of "not acceptable in American society" to...

Commented on Torchwood, reviewed (Metzger likes it)
@anon 26 While it is 100% possible to watch Torchwood without ever watching Doctor Who, I do recommend doing so. If nothing else, to see the origins of Captain Jack, how he became who he is in Torchwood and what...

Commented on Torchwood, reviewed (Metzger likes it)
I guess I will stop defending it, but I seriously have never understood the hatred people have for Series 1 of Torchwood. Rough around the edges? Sure, but hey.. they were trying something somewhat new and different. But 7 different...

Commented on Torchwood, reviewed (Metzger likes it)
Johnnyrighton... the show is SO much more than that. You are missing on some of the best scifi to come around in years. Whereas Enterprise had to bring in the sex as a way to get ratings, Torchwood just uses...

Commented on Torchwood, reviewed (Metzger likes it)
@Bugs #3. Gonna have to disagree with you on that one. The characters motivations have been there from day one. They have just been a little slow to develop. Sorry you only thought it was all "whos shagging who." While...

Commented on AOL CDs make great shims for home carpentry projects
Dculberson, What happens when they crack and pieces fall out or get dislodged. That is what I am talking about. Plus, shims are often needed to fill small spaces and then be trimmed out to "disappear" How the hell are...

Commented on fracking, a word
I would also like to point out that the "Galactica" version of the word has no C. i.e. frak I've seen it spelled with the C and it looks wrong. Plus, its no longer then a 4 letter expletive....
