Commented on Boing Boing's Moderation Policy (Archived)
@711: Alright, because he's not listed as an assistant moderator. But in TNH's comment here at http://www.boingboing.net/2008/05/19/little-brother-at-ny.html#comment-191634 she says he is. If he is an actual moderator, then his conduct in both this thread and lessons learned are... well inflammatory...

Takuan: One question on follow-up: I'm a little confused as to your position @ BB, as well. Are you a staff moderator, an assistant moderator, or just a big Boing Boing fan?...

If a comment were deleted, there would be no record of it. When it is unpublished, it remains visible in the commenter's history. Just because you don't like something, doesn't make it newspeak. You mean the history that visible to...

Even weirder is the idea that companies shouldn't be criticized because in a market, you should just take your business elsewhere. Free markets thrive on good information. For a market to function, customers need to have good information about which...

Oh, for heaven's sake. Tht cut and paste got all sorts of messed up. Take two! I got into an e-slap-fight with Cory over this sort of issue, the full test of which is forever preserved here: http://www.stupidhappy.com/coti/forum/viewtopic.php?t=647 and with...

Commented on Home Depot customer detained by DC police for not showing receipt
I got into an e-slapfight with Cory over this issue once before, but it boiled down to this. Someone carrying a personal revolution against Best Buy... absolutely pointless. The scene that he generated with his "I do not want to...
