Fantastic anecdote, Cory. Being from the former Soviet bloc myself I definitely understand the shock of that audience. It's sad but here in Poland Brits do have the reputation of being proud of snitching on their neighbours. 'It's just part of their culture', people say. Repeating the BSA's propaganda terms, such as "pirate" and "piracy" in reference to software, gives support to the way they want to frame the issue. Since you don't agree with them, why help them in this way? It is easy to use neutral terms such as "unauthorized copies"....
