@Mitch: It’s difficult not to notice the predominant theme wherein Mr. Coyote always pays horribly for his attempted murder of Mr. Roadrunner. Enlighten us on how the trucker received retribution, was it the gold statue and adoring whores at the end? People, if you’re going to make a cartoon comparison, make it something relevant. In this case perhaps Itchy & Scratchy....

Wow. It's amazing how happy and fun sexism, exploitation, male privilege, rape, and rape/murder are when it's a cartoon/parody of a video game. Not. Was this supposed to be ironic or one of those "I'm not a woman-hater, I'm *mocking* woman haters" kind of things? I'm sure the artist doesn't think of himself as a promoter of woman-hating rapist ideals, but that just goes to show how deeply programmed and accepted misogyny is. Fight it. Also: The animation was technically brilliant. The mucis, bland. But the subject? Ugh....

Ceci n'est pas une pipe, people... The film is a nice, but not great, riff on male power fantasies, exploitation cinema, video games, and gross out esthetics. It is also reminiscent of 60's and 70's underground comix; a non animated version of this story could easily have appeared in Zap Comics or its ilk. It's funny, disturbing, but too juvenile (purposely, I'm guessing) to be really shocking. All of the complaining and condemnation is the sound of art succeeding at what it does best......

The only real excuse that I can think of for anyone thinking that this was awesome is that they haven't seen Pirate Babys Cabana Battle Street Fight 2006 and think that this sort of 8-bit game satire is at all new or innovative. Google the above, watch the video, then ask yourself if RAPE RAPE POOP is really all that. YMMV, of course....
