Somebody should tell the Orange County Register about this newfangled thing called "double spacing."...

Commented on My Parents Were Awesome
Some of these are really neat, but if this is the awesomest picture you have of your mom, maybe your mom wasn't so awesome. http://s3.amazonaws.com/data.tumblr.com/tumblr_krb9loMfVh1qa2fy3o1_1280.jpg?AWSAccessKeyId=0RYTHV9YYQ4W5Q3HQMG2&Expires=1256762574&Signature=QNAswVT85xFUBPMww3eKetIv2y4%3D It's a cool site, but people need to dig a little deeper. It's easy to...

Commented on Annotated Walking Dead Google Map
@larskydoodle OK then yeah, a spoiler warning would have been nice. I generally read the RSS feeds too, but as soon as I see The Walking Dead in the title, I click over to the site and start running my...

Commented on Annotated Walking Dead Google Map
@MORTIS Not bad, but I'd leave out anybody who's already in a popular show like Mary Louise Parker and Sam Trammell. I'm pulling for Chad Coleman from "The Wire" as Tyreese, but I'm fully expecting the show to be cast...

Commented on Annotated Walking Dead Google Map
@larskydoodle "This is a Google map that tracks all the events from issue 1 to 64" That sounds like a spoiler warning to me....

Commented on Annotated Walking Dead Google Map
This is fantastic. It's kind of creepy to look at some of the early locations, like the zombie bicyclist and think that Kirkman really might have scoped out the location....

Commented on DIY Low-NRG Fridge: Coolest Ice Box Ever?
A glass lid would be a nice touch. Might decrease the energy efficiency a bit, but maybe that would be offset by not necessarily having to open it as much or as often to see what's inside....

Commented on HOWTO bake dashboard cookies while you're working
#The Lizardman. I'll glady take my chances and eat raw dough, as long as it's cold and hasn't had a chance to fester in a hot car for a few hours....

Commented on HOWTO bake dashboard cookies while you're working
This is just a terrible, terrible idea. One of the commenters in the article explained why this is a bad idea. 150° is not hot enough to safely cook the eggs in cookies. Egg whites do not begin to coagulate...

Commented on Guards are the worst prison-rapists
Let me state my view here, to clear it up, because as a blathering iditot, I sometimes fail to make myself clear: I'm addressing Cory's take on the study, not the study itself. I read Cory's take on it, and...

Commented on Guards are the worst prison-rapists
A guard's not going to shank you in the shower if you snitch. I'm willing to bet good money that guards commit only an extremely small minority of prison rapes. It's silly to group men's prisons and women's prisons for...

Commented on E309: New Super Mario Bros Wii, the trailer
Let's clear this up: If it's on the Wii, then it's not HD. Just because it's 16:9, does not make it HD. Still, the game looks great....

Commented on Bob Graham's much-scoffed-at little notebooks are more reliable than the CIA's records

Commented on We may or may not have refreshed BBG
I like it. The comments form could use some cleaning up for sure. Here's a big usability fix that you should make sooner rather than later: Increase the space between paragraphs in comments. The comments in general are pretty ugly....

Commented on Nine year old's survey project excluded from school because he learned some people don't think of themselves as male or female
@#11, #13, #15: Hey, you don't have to agreewith the answer that's in your pants. I'm just saying, if you can't decide, go where the evidence points. I'm going to guess that 99.999 percent of the time, the answer will...

Commented on Wikileaks.de domain-owner's house raided over publication of secret government censorship lists
I never stated that laws were violated, I just questioned whether this guy had done no wrong, as Cory had strongly implied. For all anybody here knows, I support this guy, whether his actions were legal or not. People are...

Commented on Wikileaks.de domain-owner's house raided over publication of secret government censorship lists
Hey, I don't know what laws may have been violated, but I do know that Cory's reporting on this is far from impartial. Maybe this guy was breaking a law, or maybe this is some sort of conspiracy. I don't...
