There isn't really a good way to get rid of a biofilm. It's very active research. Quoting someone working on the topic: "it's not just that we can't find a drug that dissolves biofilms and is harmless to humans, we can't find ANY substance, no matter how toxic, which destructs a biofilm"....

Just make sure the water temperature is set to 100 °C (212 °F) at standard pressure and you won't have to worry about bacteria....

That's it! I'm done! I will never wash again. Clearly, this is most likely what brought demise to both parents, my grandparents, six of my Aunts and three Uncles. What tragedy lurks within innocent metal. Never again! Does Al Gore know about this?...

see, i don't have any issues with these little bastards, as i've preemptively coated my lungs with condensed tobacco soot, which is, of course, inhospitable for nasty bacteria. it seems to be a decent barrier for viruses as well, as i never seem to be ill. to protect against food born illnesses, i generally sterilize my bowels with no less than 6 ounces of alcohol per day. doing so keeps my flora and fauna in good spirits, as it helps not only to sanitize the region, but also helps them forget their woes....

i thought there were types of silver or something that are antibiotic. they use em in hiking water bottles and such to prevent mildew. any metallurgists in the house? what metals are anti-bacterial?...
